BIAAS awarded $12,000 to Rutgers University in order to fund a lecture series on Austrian-American studies. The grant funded nine lectures held from October 2012 to May 2013, with visiting academics from both U.S. and Austrian universities and institutions. These lectures focused on Austrian film and literature and included topics on women in cinema and Peter Handke’s novels.
