BIAAS sponsored “Letters in Troubled Times: An Austrian-American Conference” at Florida State University issuing a grant for $7,500. The conference features stories of Austrians who migrated to the United States or who tried to gain access to the United States. The conference papers will be featured in the Journal of Austrian-American History.

Suzanne M. Sinke earned her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota and has served as an associate professor at Florida State University.
