Theresia Klugsberger

BIAAS issued a grant to Theresia Klugsberger for $11,100 in order to study the life of Austro-Hungarian journalist, newspaper publisher, and author Hans Habe. The project sought to shed light on his role in serving with the Allies in World War II and uncover the importance of his Austrian heritage that has often been overlooked. Klugsberger visited the National Archives in both Washington D.C. and New Orleans as well as to the Library of Congress and the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University. The project culminated in several academic articles, including one published as a chapter in the Quiet Invaders Reviseted book, as well as conferences presentation.

Theresia Klugsberger earned her Ph.D. from the University of Salzburg and has served as a lecturer at the New Design University and the University of Salzburg.
