Teresa Carmody

BIAAS awarded an $8,450 grant to Teresa Carmody to produce a bilingual anthology of Austrian experimental writing, entitled An Austrian Avant-Garde. The anthology will focus on lessen known authors as well as women authors in order to showcase the extent of Austrian avant-garde literature. The grant funded the translation of the works into English so that these Austrian writings may reach a wider audience.

Teresa Carmody is a Ph.D. student at the University of Denver and serves as the executive director of Les Figues Press.
