Ronald Patrick Vaughan

BIAAS granted $25,000 to Ronald Vaughan in order to produce a documentary film about Jewish-Austrian-American composer Eric Zeisl. The funds for the grant covered various production costs, such as payments for director and cameramen as well as filming Zeisl’s choral and opera. The grant also paid for filming on location in Vienna and Linz, in addition to funding transportation and overhead expenses. The project culminated in the 79 minute documentary entitled Eric(h) Zeisl – An Unfinished Life as well as a 59 minute version for TV broadcasting.


Ronald Patrick Vaughan is a director and producer, who graduated from the Vienna Film Academy in 1973. He has directed and produced hundreds of TV episodes and numerous documentaries and runs his own production agency, VAUGHAN VIDEO KG.
