Ian Wasserman

Ian Wasserman was awarded a fellowship of $30,000 for a book project on the intellectual significance of the Austrian School of Economics in the Twentieth century. The fellowship allowed Wasserman to conduct research at dozen of archives over eight months, including the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript in Durham, North Carolina, the Hoover Institution Archives at Stanford University, and both the Austrian State Archives and Austrian National Library in Vienna. With the completion of the fellowship, Wasserman was able to write an article for an issue of Researches in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology and a book prospectus as well as present his findings at a number of conferences and lectures.


Ian Wasserman received his Ph.D. in History from Washington University in Saint Louis and has served as an assistant professor at the University of Alabama.
