Campaign Digital, Inc.

BIAAS awarded a $16,000 grant to Campaign Digital, Inc, in partnership with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Washington, D.C. to create a website that promotes the cultural exchange between Austria and the United States. The site sought to connect artists from both countries by creating databases with information on various active artists. Furthermore, the project wanted to advertise cultural events occurring both in the United States and Austria and create a social media presence where people could engage in this cultural exchange.  The website www.culturespaces.org began operating in January of 2012.

Campaign Digital, Inc is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation based in Washington, D.C. that attempts to empower people to use new media for civic engagement. The organization also addresses questions to public diplomacy in the digital environment as well as researches the effect of media technologies on the public.
