The 2018 Botstiber Lecture featured an engaging talk on “The Cunning History: The Politics of Today and the Austro-Hungarian Empire of the Past” by Dr. Leon Botstein, President of Bard College and Board Chairman of Central European University. Hosted at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C., Dr. Botstein’s lecture examined the political history of Eastern and Central Europe since the end of the First World War.
